Revlon Colorstay

hello dearies!
sorry for the lack of updates >_< i've been pretty busy lately cause my apprenticeship has been confirmed and i'll be flying to boracay this tuesday already!! weee!! :)
im really excited to live there for nearly 2 months! ^__^ but im also nervous about working and all.

anyhoo, let's start with my thoughts about the Revlon Colorstay Foundation....

i got the shade of medium beige (WRONG SHADE!) haha.. good thing it blends pretty decent on my face, its lighter than my color but its not too obvious thank goodness :) i just set it with a loose powder that's my shade and im ready to go!

loves:
**its really true that it stays on your face for a loooooooong time :)
**it doesn't fade even during hot hot hot weather
**it doesn't break me out
**it has spf.. well its only spf 6 but i still love the fact that it contains some
**they offer 2 variants of the foundation, one for dry skin and another one for oily/combination skin

kinda hate:

**it offers medium - full coverage..  but what i do is i just use one layer of the colorstay foundation so it's just medium coverage for me, i don't add another layer cause i don't like the heavy feel it gives. that's why i still need a concealer for my  dark acne spots *sigh*
**it does have a scent, its not a very strong one but if you're irritated by scented cosmetics then you should consider this :)

hate:
**i really wish it would come with a pump like the revlon photoready.

**they offer wide selection of shades BUT they only sell limited shades here in the Philippines :(

here's a picture of me wearing the revlon colorstay foundation in medium beige:
(i don't have under eye concealer on this photo ^_^)

 that's all for today! ^__^

i hope i can update as often as i want to but i might get really busy for the weeks to come :)
i hope you'll all have a nice month of May ! and please wish me luck on my apprenticeship LOL.

see you around!
xoxo,

i like this better than the photoready. It stays on my face & i have never broken out...well, i suppose it won't happen if ever because i make sure that i remove it thoroughly..(i remove make-up using 4 ways pa!)

i also don't like the scent but then since it's the kind of scent that grows on you & is not like some others i can still tolerate it

i only wish it doesn't dry fast. i mean that it would take longer to dry so to be able to blend it better. For those who are not use to blending liquid foundations (keeps on using low-quality foundation brush) they might have a hard time managing streaks for it dries fast..

but nevertheless...this is a pretty neat product!

wow boracay for 2 months? i'm so jealous! hahaha anyway i have this foundation too and i think it rocks! it would take me a loooooong time to finish the 30 ml bottle though because a little product goes a long long way. oh and i hate the packaging too. ever tried making a tinted moisturizer with this? doesn't work that well with celeteque though :(

I like colorstay too but the mousse one. It's a pretty decent foundie. :P Good luck on your apprenticeship in Bora. :P

I love Revlon ColorStay! :) I also wish it had a pump too! I waste so much product because I pour it into a little pan thing & I stipple it onto my face. Sometimes I pour WAY too much out :(
