NARS Lip Laquer and A Tag :)

hello everyone! 
im really sorry for sloooooooww updates. life is just busy busy busy :p

so anyhoo.. i've been lemming for a NARS Lip Laquer for a long long time that's why i didn't think twice when i placed an order at sephora a few weeks ago. i got the shade of chelsea girls cause im a nude-neutral lips kinda girl. heehee. 

It is described by NARS cosmetics as a lip lacquer that contains high shine formula with sheer pigments of color. This is actually not a lipstick in a pot; its more of a lip gloss in a pot :)

loves

**the nude beige shade of chelsea girls, i love that chelsea girls doesn't have glitters :)
**it contains just right amount of stickyness - its a bit sticky but not like those of a mac lipglass
**doesn't fade fast.
**doesn't make my lips dry :)

things to consider

**it has a slight plastic-y smell but it does fade after some time.

**needs a lip brush! im not comfortable applying it with my fingers.:)

overall, i la-la-love it!! :)

~hmmm.. i could cry over this question hahaha. i guess before i was so eager to grow up, did wrong things at the wrong time with the wrong people. if i could go back, i would take time and just enjoy being young :)

~too many to count!! i feel its the always a best moment when i laugh with my friends, spend time with my family and my love.im cheesy like that hahaha.

3.What do you miss from your childhood?

~i actually miss living like a child. just playing around,always happy, and not worrying about what tomorrow brings. now its a lot complicated, one big wrong move and it can ruin my life hahaha

4.What's your favorite makeup brand?

~NARS! :) my favorite foundation,blush, and lipgloss are all from NARS :)

5.What's your skincare must haves?

~moisturizer with SPF (i know a sunblock is a must have but i haven't found a face sunblock that i would love to use everyday , that's why i stick with a moisturizer with SPF  heehee :p )

~lip balm, chapped lips = unattractive :)

~a trusty facial cleanser and make up remover.

6.What's your go-to makeup?

~ this is how i do my makeup almost everyday: moisturizer, foundation, concealer, powder, blush, lip balm, lipstick or gloss,gel eyeliner, mascarra (no eyeshadows for me :p)

7.What's the one thing you wish you could do but can't?

~i wish i could give the poor the better life they ought to have and i wish i could give the bad people the punishment they deserve.

8.What was your childhood dream and what happened to it? (Did you abandon it, are you working on it, or are you living the dream?)

~before i really want to work in a hotel, i want to be a chef in a hotel :) thats why  i studied culinary arts (thank goodness im done!) but now i think i want to work in a fine dining restaurant or have my own little cafe that serves pastries and feel good dishes :)

hello everyone!!

its been a while since i made a haul post :) 
last week, i ordered few stuffs from sephora.com. hmm actually, i was supposed to get only one item and that's the eau girl scent sampler set but oooohhh adding other items on my online basket is so hard to resist  hahaha.. so i got other stuffs too :))

In2it 2 Way Powder Foundation

hello ladies!

im really sorry for sloow updates here in my tiny blog.. its because i'm not yet finished with my term papers that are due next week -.- and that the stormy weather wrecks up our internet connection -.-

speaking of the stormy weather, the wind last Tuesday night was so strong that it damaged some electrical posts and BOOM! no electricity from 12midnight until 9:30PM of the following day :(( here's a view from my window during the storm

we still have electricity when i took this picture..

so yeah, i wish for a better and no more power interruptions rainy season ^_^

now let's start with the review part of my post :))

today i'll share with you my thoughts about In2it's 2 Way Powder Foundation

my reason for buying this foundation is that i plan to use it as a touch-up powder when im out. i actually used mac blot as a touch up powder before but i accidentally dropped it and it was shattered :( i transferred it to a jar but i find it a bit of a hassle now to use it for touch ups.

i picked In2it because of good reviews from girltalk, most of the girls say that this foundation oxidizes on them--- true, it also oxidizes on me :( good thing i got a shade lighter, i got the shade of OCF 03 HARVEST (im not sure if this is their darkest or second to the darkest shade)

LOVES :))

-it contains SPF25

-the texture is really smooth - me likey a lot!

-doesn't look cakey on skin, doesn't make dry patches on my cheeks

-no disturbing scent

-doesn't break me out

SEMI LOVE :)

-fights oiliness for around 2 - 2.5 hours (i wish it provides longer oil-free time heehee)

HATE -.-

-it oxidizes on me too :(

i forgot the price, i think its around Php600++. In2it products can be purchased at department stores (landamrk, SM, etc.) try to grab one during a mall sale because they also offer discounts! :)

WILL I REPURCHASE?...

hmmm.. probably no.. because i can hear CHANEL'S Poudre Universelle Compacte calling my name..

hahahaha.. i'll try to use up In2it first :)

i will really try to update as quickly as i can.. heehee

Stuffs I'm Loving Right Now :)

today i would love to share my favorite stuffs as of the moment. not just cosmetics stuffs but all the other things that fascinates me right now... :))

Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer

 

i use this primer every time i put makeup on, i love how it prevents my makeup from caking and it really does helps my foundation to stay for a long period of time. 

NARS blush in DeepThroat  

 

i am totally loving the shade of DT!! the combination of peach and pink is cute and the color is really pretty on the cheeks. my favorite blush as of the moment :))

Nivea Lip Care in Strawberry 

 

this lip balm kicks the ass of my dry lips haha. i love that it leaves my lips a hint of red with a glossy finish. i also like the strawberry scent it has, just right not overpowering ^_^

Pantene Pro-V Extra Damage Care Deep Repair Mask

 

my hair got badly burned from my almost 2 month stay at Boracay. I don't have the funds yet for an expensive hair treatment (but i really need one ASAP! lol) sooo for the mean time i use this repair mask and it does the job quite well, it makes my hair softer and it doesn't give me pimples! i usually get pimples at my nape or scalp from harsh hair products (eww ikr?! ^_^)

now for the non beauty favorites :))

Kellogs Rice Krispies Treats - Original Flavor

 

this is one of my all time favorite snacks!!! i was still in elementary when i first discovered the goodness of this yummy treat.. but then i haven't seen any of this in our local groceries for the past years.. then last Saturday, I saw it again in its big blue box smiling at me :)) I immediately grabbed a box! haha. i don't really like eat marshmallows and it's really weird that this is a crispy marshmallow squares :)

Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit & Cream

 

 

 

 

 

 

my new HG ice cream!! haha. sin on a pint! :) the sweet caramel ice cream with biscuit pieces--- heaven!! i can't describe how good it really tastes. i was supposed to get the belgian chocolate flavor but that day, they had a free sampling of the caramel biscuit & cream because it's a new flavor from Häagen-Daz. When I tasted it --boom!-- i returned the belgian chocolate back to the freezer and got myself this flavor instead hahaha. i returned a chocolate flavored ice cream for this one -- it's that good!! i really suggest that you grab one and try it! WARNING: you might get addicted too! haha :)

hello everyone!!
*whew* it feels great to blog again :)) my busy schedule is almost over ( i still need to finish some papers ) but after next week, i'm soo done with culinary school. yipee!! i really don't know what will happen next so please wish me lots of luck :p

anyhoo, im back to blogging!!
let me share some pictures from boracay, i lived and worked in boracay island for one and a half month, i quickly fell in love with the beach, food, night life, and all the gorgeous stuffs that the island  has to offer.

we also went parasailing.. it's scary at first but the view from above is just beautiful and peaceful. i would love to do it again!
