A Prayer For Our Nation

hi pretty!
how are you?
i hope everyone's fine...
as you may know, the Philippines was struck by a monster typhoon this last week-end
and our nation was deeply devastated.
streets were flooded, even homes were flooded up to the second floor, people begged for help on their roofs. :( people were stranded for hours, other people have no choice but to walk through the flood, and heavy rain just to see their family..
i refuse to watch the news sometimes because the stories make me cry. its so sad.
there are lots of horror stories that happened this week-end :(


i would like to share a prayer that you can also share so that we can pray as a nation.

Our Father in heaven,
we humbly pray to You as a nation.
We plead to Your merciful heart that You may look upon
us with compassion.
We pray for our brothers who have lost their lives,
receive them in You heavenly kingdom.
We pray for those who are lost and those trying
to get home to their family,
make their way easy.
We pray for those who have lost their homes,
give them comfort.
We pray for those who are still exposed to the bad conditions and awaiting help,
give them strength.

Everything we do for our unfortunate bretheren,
we offer to You and Your glory.
All this we pray in the most holy name of Jesus.
Amen.

Dollface 32-Color Lip Palette

hello pretty!

how are you? :)
i hope you're happy like me!! heehee

why am i happy today??...
its because i received this afternoon my 32-lip color palette from dollface cosmetics! yey!
dollface cosmetics from cebu shipped this baby yesterday and i received it today, its fast! heehee (oh i live in the province btw.it usually takes 2 days ^__^)



i actually planned to order the compact size of the 32 lip palette but what they have on-hand is the big size of the said lip palette. since i can't wait to try their products, i did not hesitate anymore to get the larger palette :) its only Php550! cheap! heehee. and since dollface is celebrating their birthday month, they are offering free shipping to everyone! sweet! ^__^


the pans have the same size of a one peso coin

i love that most of the shades are pigmented, i think there are 2 that when swatched looks more like a plain gloss. the shades are mostly from the pink to red family. there are some gold shades too :) i think these colors are very usable for everyday use. my only comment is that there are some colors that are like twins, they're really like the same color. but i don't mind it too much heehee. i still love it.

i just noticed now that the 1st and 3rd lip picture are quite the same heehee
i love that it feels very smooth on the lips! it doesn't give me the feeling that i will have dry lips if i use it heehee. i haven't tried to roadtest them yet but i think the pigments can last for a long time. im loving these baby lippies! heehee.

MAC Blot Pressed Powder

hello there pretty! :)
here's my thoughts about mac blot pressed powder
i bought the shade of medium dark for the price of Php1,200.00


here's a brief description from the mac website:
A unique pressed powder designed primarily to provide shine control without adding any noticeable colour or texture. Sets foundation, finishes faces. For use in professional situations and for frequent touch-ups. Blot Powder contains Mica and Silica to adsorb excess oils and reduce shine on the skin's surface.


well, when i tested it at the mall, it immediately vanished my oilies :)
(oh, im not really a very oily girl, its just my nose and forehead that gets slightly oily)

(in natural light)

i love that i can use it to set my foundation and it does not change the color of my foundie too! it feels very smooth and light on the skin and it does not feel cakey at all :)
it also lasts on my face for quite a long time ^__^
though, i haven't tried using it during a hot weather. i wish the staying power would still be the same.

im happy that i've bought this product because im sure that i can use it everyday :)

Maybelline Gel Liner

here's my thoughts about maybelline's lasting drama gel liner

i bought the 01 Black shade and its priced at Php399,
it can be bought on department stores/watsons.
although here in my place there's no stock available :(
that's why i bought it right away when i saw it yesterday heeheee.




sooo here is the description located on the packaging
"creamy gel type allows to draw a smooth cream line without crease. customized eye line brush allows lines to be drawn from fine to thick. the creamy gel dries up quickly after application. long lasting, waterproof, and smudge proof formula that resists
sweat, tears, and water"
sounds nice :)


i can say that the texture is really creamy, and its very easy to work with.
i love that it dosen't have any smell too :) it didn't smudge on me and i also tried splashing water into my eyes and it didn't come off heehee. cool :)
its can be removed easily with a eye make-up remover.


the gel liner comes with an eyeliner brush, i like the applicator because it really helps in making an even line heehee.

i really like this gel liner, i hope maybelline will come up with more colors like blue,green,gold, and more! heehee. i would definitely re-purchase after i finished my pot :)

Week-end Haul :)

i went to the mall today with my family to check out the sale :)
oh boy, it was tiring! haha. now my feet hurts :(

starbucks' belgian chocolate croissant!! :)

yumm yumm heehee, its perfect to pair with coffee for breakfast or for a midnight snack! heehee, its a croissant with belgian chocolate filling and its topped with almond slivers and drizzled with more belgian chocolate !! i love that its not too sweet :) (ughh! im craving again!!!) haha its my newest comfort food :)

its around Php65 or Php70 :) not bad at all! heehee
try it and you might get hooked too!

Charm Holiday Brush Set :)

hello :)
here's my full review on the charm holiday brush set
i have heard a lot of positive reviews about charm brushes, and those reviews really convinced me to have one too heehee, plus the handles are really cute its pink! heehee.


i bought them from a reseller in tiendesitas for Php950. i was thinking of buying the suesh set but its only a 5 pc travel set while charm's is a 8 pc set, i think charm's travel set is a better deal :)


the brushes are made from synthetic hair, and i can say that its really soft! these baby brushes comes with a black pouch that also has a separate purse that can house some of my make-ups heehee :)

angled brow liner brush, concealer brush


pointed eyeliner brush, eyeshadow brush


aren't they lovely? heehee.
its nice to have a set like this that i can bring anywhere, very travel friendly!
its also nice that it has a good quality and a good price tag heehee,
i definetely recommend it to everyone :)
i would love to get more charm brushes heehee especially their dual fibre brush ^__^

Pink Haul

hello!

i went to tiendesitas today and i bought some stuffs, and when i went home
i just realized that all of the items i bought are color pink heehee. sweet!



first i bought a mini hello kitty fan heehee,
its battery operated or it can also work using a usb cable that can be connected to my laptop heehee (the usb cable is included when i bought it)


i bought this fan because sometimes when there's no electricity (brown outs) it can be really really irritatingly hot! hahaha. its pretty nice for the price of Php350. i just hope that it will still work after 3 uses haha. :p


next is a hot pink nail polish for just Php15! heehee

i saw this at a stall that is selling make-ups and accesories from china :)

the color is really pretty! heehee i love it



and my last purchase is my charm holiday brush set!

yipeeee. my first travel brush set heehee. its soft, its cute and its pink!
heehee i'll post my review on these baby brushes separately <3
