Sigma Brushes :) :)

i really want to invest on good makeup brushes. i would love to hoard on mac's brushes BUT UNFORTUNATELY they're so damn expensive. :( it will burn my poor wallet LOL.
 maybe i'll splurge on mac brushes when i have a job already hehe. ^_^ 


sooo anyway, good thing there is sigma. they have dupes of mac brushes with just a fraction of its price :) i've read good, bad, and worst reviews about sigma's brushes. some of the reviews i've read have their brushes shed and bleed like there's no tomorrow while there's one that the brush itself totally broke. so at first, i was a bit hesitant if i should get ask my aunt to get one for me. ^_^


well..... i couldn't help it haha. so i asked her to get me the complete set without the brush roll and a ss188 individual brush. i think i should have gotten the brush roll too. haha now i don't know where i'll place them if ever i go travel.

i don't own any mac brush so i can't compare the two brands :)

loves: i soooo love the brushes that i got. they're from a good batch! still super soft after washing. the brushes does their job quite well! well just a minor shedding for the SS187 and SS150. just around 2-4 hairs :) i think i've washed them for 4x already. i recommend sigma if you want nice quality brushes for a lesser price :) but ofcourse a real mac brush would be better!! HAHA


nah: i wish all of the brushes came with a brush guard :) aside from the minor shedding, the SS187 did bleed a little.

Urban Decay Palettes+ Something for Sale :)

i got two urban decay palettes from my loot last last week. they're actually my first eye shadows from urban decay. i've read lots of raves about their eye shadows!! im not really a fan of putting eye make up but i really want to have some eye shadows on my stash :)


loves: the pigmentation is really really nice! the texture is very smooth and velvety that's why its really easy to blend :) they stay on my lids for a long time especially with UDPP.  i also love the fact that the 2 palettes that i got have a beautiful selection of colors. and oh, the packaging is so cute :)

hate: i find maui wowie and polyester bride to shimmery for me. :(

Quick Post: Nyx Lipgloss Swatches

 i love love nyx glosses!! they're full of color, non sticky (w/c is a very important factor for me), it lasts for a good period of time. the only hate is it has a car freshener scent. booo!! :p

i currently own 5 round lipglosses and 2 megashine glosses. the megashine glosses have a bubble gum sort of scent while the round ones have the car freshener scent haha. and the megashine glosses are a bit heavier for me. :) 


my favorite shades are pinky natural and cafe latte :)
natural and smokey look almost look the same but the former has a darker shade.

mac lippies! :)

hello pretty! 
today i'll share my thoughts on my new mac lippies, i got two from my aunt and i got another one from a swap i had with sis paola :) i'm really excited with these babies cause i'm on a lipstick phase right now!! i got attracted by lipsticks so easily heehee. ~~

the shades that i got are speak louder, fanfare, and high tea.
speak louder and fanfare are from the cremesheen family, i love love the finish! its creamy and it gives full color with a hint of gloss. i find them moisturizing too! :) 

high tea on the other hand is from the lustre family, its also glossy but it gives a sheer to medium color pay-off. i don't like sheer lippies cause the pigmentation of my lips are really uneven and i would love to veil it up.but then the lustre finish is buildable so it does have coverage. not full but its alright. :)

clean poppy blue pink -for me this is a hot pink with hints of red. i don't know if i can pull this off but i really love the color!! its sexy yet cute :)

fanfare

mid tone yellow pink - this is a tamer pink shade that compliments my skin :) 

it effortlessly brightens my face.

high tea

beiged pink with pearl - its a nice everyday nude lippy with hints of pink but i wish it has more coverage :)

now my next target from the permanent line of lippies are spice is nice, kinda sexy, and angel.

but right now im soooo lemming for this one!! :) its the mac viva glam cyndi heehee.

i love lady gaga but im afraid that the viva glam gaga shade won't suit me :(

Stila Smudgepots! :)

i fell in love with my first stila smudgepot so much that i couldn't resist to get more!
good thing the smudgepot holiday collection is still available at sephora, i placed it on my cart right away! :)

this set is a good deal cause it has 4 mini smudgepots and a brush (trust me, even though its mini it will still last for a long time) its not that expensive too! just 32USD.

loves: good consistency just like my gray one. easy to apply.  stays on for hours! doesn't smudge.  affordable. a little amount is needed for each use. the colors included in the kit are very use-able and i think these babies will also do a good job as e/s bases (haven't tried that yet)


hates: the violet shade is a bit sheer, so i need to apply a couple of times for it to appear. im scared that it will dry fast (hopefully not). and the brush included in the kit is not so nice for lining the eyes cause its too fluffy to be an eyeliner brush.

MAC Warm Me Up is Love!

i love love the shade of this lipstick when i first saw the swatch of it on temptalia's site.
but my lemming for this faded away after a few weeks. i dont know why hehe.

then last week, i saw this on girltalk's beauty bazaar for just Php600. i grabbed it right away!
good thing i did!! cause its really pretty ^__^

loves: the amplified cream finish is so nice. its very smooth to apply and it gives my lips an opaque color. w/c i love cause my lips have uneven pigmentation :) the shade is neutral pink with peach tones, it does go well with my nc42 skin. it does not wash me off or anything and it doesn't look boring. i love pairing it with nars sweet revenge gloss for more ooomph! hehe
hate: its a limited edition shade. bummer :(

NARS mini glosses :)

hello pretty!

wow its February 1 already.. valentines day is just around the corner.. and i don't know what to give my love yet :( plus his birthday is on the 23rd.. aack! its also near.. i have no idea what to give or what to do. LOL. i really need to come up with something asap!

enough about my dilemma. hehe

today ill share the swatches of the NARS glosses that i got as freebies from my last purchase :)
the shades that i got are:

loves: im happy with the freebie that i got cause i really like NARS' glosses
they're HG material *for me*. they're not sticky and they stay on my lips for a long time. i love the formula, its smooth and non drying~~
hates:  the scent can be a hate factor for some. i can't describe the scent it has. haha but its not disturbing like the scent of nyx glosses hehe (but i like nyx glosses too despite of the smell ^_^) and as much as i want to collect NARS glosses. its too expensive :(
