Maybelline Mini Haul

hello! last week, i went on a hunt for affordable face products (foundation & loose powder) that i could use on a normal day :) so i headed to a maybelline counter to look for the stuffs that i need. i haven't tried any face products from maybelline, this will be the first face products attempt from maybelline :) so did i like it?.. let's see..

first is the clear smooth aqua gel foundation.

data from the back of the packaging:

its has a water based formula that gives the skin a light and fresh sensation. controls shine for an all-day and perfect looking complexion.evens out skin tone and covers imperfections. feels soothing and cares for your skin chamomile, aloe and vitamin e.

 

love:

**no unpleasant smell

**it really did cover minor blemishes like redness :)

**it didn't break me out

**i love the packaging, cause it helps me not to squeeze out too much of the product

**affordable Php349

hate:

**its hard to blend :(
**i think i got the wrong shade haha. i got the natural beige shade and i think i should have bought the true beige shade. :))
**if i put too much, it turns ashy on me and it cakes a little


the next face product is the clearsmooth minerals healthy natural powder foundation *whew* hehe the name is quite long :p i got it for less thanPhp 600 *i think* and it comes with a tiny kabuki brush. i got the shade of w03 dark ochre

love:

**it didn't break me out too
**it evens out my skin tone
**i love using this to set my aqua gel foundation and my concealer
**good coverage
**unscented
**it really lasts on my face. and it controls oiliness too :)

hate:

**the brush that comes with it is useless *for me* cause i find it too scratchy.
**its not pure mineral makeup

overall i like the two items i purchased but i think i'll try other products next time ^__^

Maybelline Cats Eye Mascarra

last december maybelline had a 30%off sale on their products and i got myself a new tube of mascarra! yey! i got the cat's eye mascarra cause i've lots of good reviews about it :) sooooo did i like it??.....

well first of all, i love the black and pink packaging.. and oh the animal print design is also cute!

the applicator of this mascarra is very unique too! its a comb type wand. at first i thought that i'll be having a hard time on using it BUT im so wrong LOL. its very easy to use and i love it! the comb type wand also helps to apply the mascarra even on the tiny lashes :)

*packaging

 *the comb applicator!
*its waterproof, so it doesn't smudge
*it really gives volume
*it keeps my lashes curled for a long time :)
*easy to remove
*not expensive. the regular price is less than Php500. (less than $10)

hate:

*i wish maybelline can sell this not only in asia but in other continents too, cause its really a nice product :) *for me*

*it clumps my lashes a little, but i don't mind that at all haha.


im happy with this mascarra, and im sure that i'll repurchase heehee.

Maybelline Gel Liner

here's my thoughts about maybelline's lasting drama gel liner

i bought the 01 Black shade and its priced at Php399,
it can be bought on department stores/watsons.
although here in my place there's no stock available :(
that's why i bought it right away when i saw it yesterday heeheee.




sooo here is the description located on the packaging
"creamy gel type allows to draw a smooth cream line without crease. customized eye line brush allows lines to be drawn from fine to thick. the creamy gel dries up quickly after application. long lasting, waterproof, and smudge proof formula that resists
sweat, tears, and water"
sounds nice :)


i can say that the texture is really creamy, and its very easy to work with.
i love that it dosen't have any smell too :) it didn't smudge on me and i also tried splashing water into my eyes and it didn't come off heehee. cool :)
its can be removed easily with a eye make-up remover.


the gel liner comes with an eyeliner brush, i like the applicator because it really helps in making an even line heehee.

i really like this gel liner, i hope maybelline will come up with more colors like blue,green,gold, and more! heehee. i would definitely re-purchase after i finished my pot :)

Week-end Haul :)

hi pretty!
how's your week-end? :) i hope you had fun!! heehee
i went to the mall today with my family to check out the sale :)
oh boy, it was tiring! haha. now my feet hurts :(

i want to share my latest food obsession...

starbucks' belgian chocolate croissant!! :)

yumm yumm heehee, its perfect to pair with coffee for breakfast or for a midnight snack! heehee, its a croissant with belgian chocolate filling and its topped with almond slivers and drizzled with more belgian chocolate !! i love that its not too sweet :) (ughh! im craving again!!!) haha its my newest comfort food :)

its around Php65 or Php70 :) not bad at all! heehee
try it and you might get hooked too!

Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Mascara

here's my thoughts about Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Mascara :)




i passed by landmark this morning hoping to find some sale items on the cosmetics dept.
then i saw on the maybelline booth that they have a sale on their mascara! yey heehee
they have 2 mascara's on sale, one is this volum' express and i forgot the other one hehe sorry. but i remember that it's in a plain black case :)



they slashed the price from Php399 to Php199. It promises to add volume to your lashes and keep it curled the whole day :) I got the shade in very black heehee.




i also noticed that the wand is slightly curved, cute! heehee i've read in some blogs that this mascara from maybelline is comparable to other high-end mascaras :)
it does add volume but what i don't like is that it feels heavy on my lashes :(
i still have to roadtest it though, if it will last for hours heehee





im wearing the mascara in both pictures heehee. i like it but i think i'll try other mascaras next time heehee :)

how was your long week-end? :))
i hope you had fun just like me!!

i spent my friday night with my friends until the wee hours then for saturday i just relaxed at home with my family, then sunday i went to church, went to rockwell to check out the bazaar :)) heehee then yesterday,monday, i went to the salon to have my hair rebonded (at last!) whew! heehee
