still alive! :))

hello everyone!!
*whew* it feels great to blog again :)) my busy schedule is almost over ( i still need to finish some papers ) but after next week, i'm soo done with culinary school. yipee!! i really don't know what will happen next so please wish me lots of luck :p

anyhoo, im back to blogging!!
let me share some pictures from boracay, i lived and worked in boracay island for one and a half month, i quickly fell in love with the beach, food, night life, and all the gorgeous stuffs that the island  has to offer.

we also went parasailing.. it's scary at first but the view from above is just beautiful and peaceful. i would love to do it again!

Happy Quick Post :)

hello there!

i just want to share some thoughts and pictures from last Friday's beach trip ^__^

so last Friday me and my bunch of friends went to Anvaya Cove. It's a pretty posh resort located in Morong, Bataan. We left our house around 6:00AM, yes, that early!! heehee its because going to Anvaya is like 2.5 hours from our place and we want to go there early so that we can enjoy the sun without the scorching heat :) 

I love love love love love Anvaya!! its really a nice place to relax and enjoy the pools and the beach. the staffs are always courteous and eager to help. the food that they serve is good and the amenities are luxe! its really worth it to be a member :) (my mom and dad signed up for a membership cause they want to live in Anvaya when they're already retired from work and just want to enjoy life ^__^)

but we really had lots of fun!!

Holiday Pictures + Dollface Palette! :)

hello everyone!!!

wow this is my first post for 2010! heehee i can't believe its '10 already. waah! it means i'm turning 20 this year!! hahahaha :) im having high hopes that this will be a fabolous year!

let me share some pictures last december :)

my friends and i went to a club for a pre-christmas party! it was sooo fun! hahaha we went home drunk with smiles on our faces :) we're not complete in this pic* :)

 and now im gonna share my thoughts about the Dollface 88 earth color palette. this palette is a birthday gift from my oh so loving boyfriend :) im happy that he got me this palette because im really starting to love eyeshadows and i need more colors to practice with! :)

with this palette, i can make endless looks! :) i love that it contains matte and shimmer shades.it has shades of gold,gray,silver,browns,pinks,and a couple of blues and greens :)

the pigmentation is nice BUT a primer is needed :) i find some shades a bit powdery, and the shadows can easily crack, im kinda scared cause im very clumsy haha. and another rant is that the case of the palette that i got is kinda not nice. its has scratches :(
but its not a major rant so its alryt :)

i did random swatches of the shadows. no primer was used :)

EK Trip + Skinfood Buy

hello ladies!
im sorry i haven't been posting here for days heehee
everyone is on semester break and its just fun to hang out with my friends everyday!!

we went to enchanted kingdom yesterday*this photo is from EK's website :)

it was hell lot of fun!
though its 2 1/2 hours of driving from our place heehee.
there were tons of people too, that's why there's always a loooooong line on the park rides.
one bummer is that the space shuttle (roller coaster) is closed :(
its because their improving it, adding more loops i guess. heehee

A Prayer For Our Nation

hi pretty!
how are you?
i hope everyone's fine...
as you may know, the Philippines was struck by a monster typhoon this last week-end
and our nation was deeply devastated.
streets were flooded, even homes were flooded up to the second floor, people begged for help on their roofs. :( people were stranded for hours, other people have no choice but to walk through the flood, and heavy rain just to see their family..
i refuse to watch the news sometimes because the stories make me cry. its so sad.
there are lots of horror stories that happened this week-end :(


i would like to share a prayer that you can also share so that we can pray as a nation.

Our Father in heaven,
we humbly pray to You as a nation.
We plead to Your merciful heart that You may look upon
us with compassion.
We pray for our brothers who have lost their lives,
receive them in You heavenly kingdom.
We pray for those who are lost and those trying
to get home to their family,
make their way easy.
We pray for those who have lost their homes,
give them comfort.
We pray for those who are still exposed to the bad conditions and awaiting help,
give them strength.

Everything we do for our unfortunate bretheren,
we offer to You and Your glory.
All this we pray in the most holy name of Jesus.
Amen.
